TOP 4 FINISH FOR PEREZ IN PDC PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT 4 |

Christian Perez finished as semi-finalist in the PDC Players Championship Event 4, Tuesday night at the Morningside Arena in Leicester, England.
Perez defeated USA’s Danny Lauby, Jr. (6-5), Germany’s Martin Schindler (6-3), and Ricardo Pietreczko also from Germany (6-1). In the last 16, Perez stunned World No. 5 and former World Champion Gerwyn Price with a 6-4 victory. He later conquered Raymond van Barnevald, another former World Champion, to land him in the semi-finals where he subsequently bowed down to Damon Heta of Australia.
Perez is the first Filipino darts player to play in the PDC Pro Tour after obtaining his PDC Pro Tour Card in the UK Qualifying School in January last year. He made his Pro Tour debut at the Players Championship Event 13 in Hildesheim, Germany last June where he finished as quarter-finalist.
The four-time World Darts Championship qualifier from Koronadal City arrived in London last February 9th after receiving his UK Sportsperson Visa February 2nd. He will be the first Filipino to compete in the upcoming Cazoo UK Open in Minehead, England from March 1 to 3.
