Aldo Angeles of Pool Spot and Mon Olivers of Amber's
Best grabbed the top prize in the P10,000 Classified Draw Doubles
Dart Tournament held February 24, 2007 (Saturday) at the Barangay
Cembo Sports Complex located along Kalayaan Ave., Cembo, Makati
City.
Organized by the Makati City Darts Association
(MCDA), in cooperation with the Unified Darters of Alabang –
Las Pinas – Cavite (UDALC), the event was sponsored by Roma
Transport, Prince Maya Travel and Tours, Amber's Best, Toyota Alabang,
Inc. and Robson Sportscraft and supported by Makati City Mayor Jejomar
Binay, Vice Mayor Nestor Santiago, Atty. Abigail Binay and the National
Dart Foundation of the Philippines (NDFP).
A total of one hundred two (102) players or fifty-one
(51) pairs participated in the event. This time around, darters
came on time knowing that the organizers strictly enforce the game
time.
As usual, the organizers again integrated modern
technology into the tournament with their computerized registration
and the video presentation of international dart matches for darters
waiting for their turn at the boards.
In the end, it was the pair of Aldo Angeles (Pool
