EDZA
sa Café Adriatico
Congressman Ed Zialcita of Paranque attended his
EDZA sa Café Adriatico P12,000 Classified Draw
Doubles last March 25, 2007. Congressman Zialcita
is a contemporary of NDFP President Tito Soncuya during their university
days in UP Diliman. In their conversations, Congressman Zialicta
mentioned that he supports darts through his annual tournaments
primarily due to the potential of Filipino darters to compete and
win international tournaments. According to Congressman Zialcita,
“Darts is one sport where height is not a factor and where
Filipinos can excel.”
Makati City Darts Association (MCDA)
Chairman Bert Pineda drew Albert de Guzman of Parañaque City
as partner and beat the tandem of Ricky Oliveros of Makati City
and Gil Navera of Manila in the tournament sponsored by Congressman
Zialcita and organized by the Unified Darters of Alabang - Las Piñas
- Cavite (UDALC).
Meanwhile, Amber's Best player Romy Aguila of Makati City and Angalo
Circuit Dart Club (ACDC) President Edward Pascual of Manila place
third in the tournament also supported by Prince Maya Travel and
Tours and the National Dart Foundation of the Philippines (NDFP).

Come election time we need to support all elective
officials who have given support and are continuing to support the
propagation of darts. In the provinces, the pillar of support and
sponsorship for darts comes from the local government budgets and
we need to support the advocacy of darts in local government units
through our support to those who support darts.
