Participants literally overflowed to the streets as one hundred eighteen (118) players or fifty-nine (59) pairs from all over Metro Manila and the nearby provinces trooped to the newly renovated Amber’s Best Ihaw-Ihaw and Restaurant in Palanan, Makati City last Friday, 9 February 2007 for a P10,000 Classified Draw Doubles 501 dart tournament organized by the Unified Darters of Alabang - Las Piñas - Cavite (UDALC), sponsored by Roma Tours, Prince Maya Travel and Tours, Amber’s Best, Philam Life and Robson Sportscraft and supported by the National Dart Foundation of the Philippines (NDFP).

Tournament started at 9:00 PM, thirty minutes from the published close of registration. Starting tournaments on time are strictly being enforced to instill discipline and to minimize tournaments ending till the early hours of the morning. As a consequence, a lot of players who arrived late were not able to play. Please note that in tournaments supported by the NDFP and organized by its support network, starting on time is a priority.

Darters from all over Metro Manila and adjacent provinces representing the various dart teams and organizations provided support to the UDALC such as the Integrated Darters of Laguna (IDOL) led by Boy Gube, Bulacan Darters Association (BDA) led by Roel and Johnny Ortega, Marikina City Dart Organization (MCDO) led by Ritchie Gannaban, Makati City Darts Association (MCDA) led by Bert Pineda, Snipers - Pier One Dart Team led by Duds Cansana, Highwayman Dart Team led by Louie Manalaysay and the Robson Dart Team led by Tito Soncuya.

In the end, it was the pair of Toto Andrade (Snipers - Pier One) and Vic Garcia (Wyeth Phils.) who emerged victorious after beating the twice-to-beat tandem of Bonin Eson (IDOL) and Botchok Gruta (Pool Spot) in their exciting finals encounter.
