Professional
Dart Tournament Director Accreditation Seminar on August 18, 2006
in Davao City
The National Dart Foundation of the Philippines
(NDFP) is launching the Dart Tournament Director Accreditation
Program on August 18, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the Retro
Village Grill and Dart Lane in Buhangin, Davao City.
This program is a vision of the NDFP to professionalize
and to standardize the management of dart tournaments and dart leagues
nationwide. The independence and confidence of the local dart organizations
to efficiently and smoothly run dart activities will definitely
generate more organizing efforts and strengthen the national dart
infrastructure.
This is the first of a series of dart tournament
director seminars to be conducted nationwide. The Karaan Davao Darters
Association, Inc. (KDDAI) and NDFP South Central Mindanao Regional
Coordinator Jong Gonzales spearheaded the organizing efforts supported
by the local dart organizations, not only in Southern Mindanao but
in the whole of Mindanao.
NDFP National Tournament Director Rommel Escubil
and NDFP National Coordinator Ritchie Gannaban will conduct the
seminar. Topics to be discussed include the responsibilities and
ethics of a Tournament Director, registering, setting-up, charting
/ bracketing, classifying, seeding, supervising and planning tournaments
and organizing dart leagues among others. This is a continuing educational
program and, after meeting the requirements of accreditation through
actual running of tournaments, participants will be recognized as
NDFP accredited tournament directors.
Registration is on-site with a seminar fee of P250.00
per person.

South-Central Mindanao Regional Coordinator) at 0919-3048245 or
