The Tacurong City Dart Club, led by its President Dubert Victorio, has organized the P100,000 Talakudong Open Dart Tournament on September 29 to October 1, 2006 at the Tacurong City Gymnasium at the City Hall Compound in Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat.

The event is the 13th Mindanao dart tournament sanctioned by the National Dart Foundation of the Philippines (NDFP) and carries national ranking points for the singles winners. The Southern Mindanao regional network of the NDFP, led by Jong Gonzales, is giving full support to the tournament. The Southern Mindanao network providing support include the cities of Davao, Cotabato, General Santos, Digos and Kidapawan, among others.

The tournament is presented by Honorable Tacurong City Mayor Lino O. Montilla and supported by the South Cotabato Darters Association (Socodarts) and sponsored by Robson Sportscraft.

The P15,000 Classified Draw Doubles 501 event kicks-off the festivities on Friday, September 29 at 6:00 PM. Day two starts with the P18,000 Classified Draw Triples 501 at 10:00 AM followed by the P8,000 Ladies' Singles 501 and the P25,000 Men's Singles 501 at 3:00 PM. The Free Registration P4,000 Youth Singles 501 ushers in the events on the final day while the P30,000 Fixed Four-Person Team 701 event caps the tournament.
