2007 Robson Dart League 1st Conference
Surpasses Target of 50 Teams
The Robson Dart League surpassed its target of 50 teams as an
overwhelming fifty-one (51) teams signified their intention of
participating in the forthcoming 2007 Robson Dart League
1st Conference scheduled to begin on March 27, 2007 (Tuesday)
at the 3/F Activity Area of Ali Mall in Araneta Center, Quezon
City.
The magic number was announced during the Team Captains’
Meeting held last Thursday, 22 March 2007 at Trattoria Uno in
Ali Mall, Araneta Center Quezon City. With twenty-two (22) teams
represented and ten (10) absent teams agreeing to the decision
of the majority, League Statistician Ritchie Gannaban declared
a quorum to signify the start of the meeting.
League Organizer Tito Soncuya started off the meeting by making
a major announcement in support of the ever growing player base
of the Robson Dart League. As an incentive to the players of the
league, the National Dart Foundation of the Philippines (NDFP)
will support qualified players to major provincial dart tournaments
by providing free transportation, lodging and entry fee expenses.
Regular eliminations will be conducted to determine the players
to be supported by the NDFP and who shall represent the National
Capital Region Dart Federation (NCRDF) in these tournaments.
To kick-off this project, two (2) players will be supported by
the NDFP for the Darterong Albayano P20,000 dart tournament to
be held on 21 April 2007 (Saturday) in Legazpi City, Albay. The
schedule and the rules and regulations governing the eliminations
