The P100,000 Philippine Qualifier for the
World Dart Championship, an NDFP Ranking Event,
on September 21-23, 2007 at the Festival Mall, Alabang.
The P100,000 Philippine Qualifier for the World Darts Championship
is a nationwide search for the best Filipino darter, in
a national open qualifier,to represent the Philippines to
the World Darts Championship. (

The World Darts Championship (WDC) is the richest and
the most prestigious dart tournament in the world. The
venue is Alexandra Palace, England on December 17,1007
to January 1, 2008. The WDC is under the auspices of the
Professional Darts Corporation, (PDC), the leader in international
darts innovations, since their split from the British
Darts Organization in 1992.
The Philippines is one of the four new qualifiers, along
with India, Russia, and Eastern Europe, invited by the
PDC to play in the Preliminary Round with qualifiers from
Japan, China, New Zealand and the Dutch Wildcard. Four
(4) winners of the preliminary Round will advance in the
First Round of 64 players.
The Philippine Qualifier to the WDC is an opportunity
for a Filipino darter to bring fame and honor to the country;
and to become a new Philippine sports hero. This is a
tournament of hope for all aspiring Filipino dart players,
irrespective of their position in life.
The Philippine Qualifier to the World Darts Championship
is assured to play in England. There is a minimum guaranteed
cash prize of 2,500 pounds or roughly $5,000 which is
enough to cover the qualifier’s expenses.
We are inviting all dart players to play,
support and witness the biggest dart event of the year.
The P100,000 Philippine Qualifier World Darts Championship
also includes the P15,000 Classified Draw Doubles on Saturday
September 22 at 6:00 PM and the P20,000 Classified Draw
Triples on Sunday, September 23 at 3:00 PM.
