|
|
NDFP
President Tito Soncuya unveiled the Title Recognition Program of
the NDFP in the recently concluded P100,000 T’nalk Open in
Koronadal, South Cotabato last July 11, 2008.
The program aims to recognize the achievements of
players in the NDFP sanctioned ranking events since 2005 and to
provide the necessary NDFP title for those achievements.
Plaques of Achievement were presented to all National
and Regional Masters. more>>
NDFP Classification of Titles
Master
All players who are Champions and 2nd placers in National Tournaments
(P75,000 and over) and champions in Regional Tournaments (P75,000
and below) are given the title of Master.
National Master
All players who are champions of at least three (3) National Tournaments
are recognized as National Masters. The distinction among National
Masters will be the number of National Tournaments won. Example:
A four (4) star National Master has won four (4) National Tournaments
and a six (6) star National Master has won six (6) National Tournaments.
Regional Master
All players who are champions of at least three (3) Regional Tournaments
are recognized as Regional Masters. The distinction among Regional
Masters will be the number of Regional Tournaments won.
NDFP Classified Players
The objective of Classified Events is to even out the playing field
and to at least give equal chances to all participants of Classified
Events. In all NDFP sanctioned Classified Events all NDFP Classified
Players cannot be paired together.
The NDFP Classified Players are the top 30% of the
total players with ranking points or the players that have accumulated
the average ranking points of the total ranking point available
– which ever is higher of the two will be classified. Classified
Players will be determined based on the rolling 3-years
accumulated ranking performance points of players.
All Masters will be classified up to five (5) years
since last earning the requirements of a master’s title irrespective
whether they do not meet the requirements of being classified.
Every Quarter the list of Classified Players will
be published in the website.
NDFP Player Ranking
Ranking of Players Performance based on the rolling 2-years accumulated
ranking points. This is the basis of the seeded players in the Philippine
Qualifier and for determining the current NDFP top players. The
updated list is a fixture of the ndfp website
