Mindanao Open Ushers in NDFP Tournaments for 2006
T he National Dart Foundation of the Philippines
(NDFP) opens the year 2006 with the NDFP-sanctioned P100,000
Mindanao Open Mayor Fernando Q. Miguel Cup on January
6, 7 and 8, 2006 at the Marbel Food Harbor in Koronadal City, South
Cotabato.
A project of Honorable Mayor Fernando
Q. Miguel of Koronadal City in celebration of the Araw ng Koronadal,
the 6th edition of the Mindanao Open is organized by the newly formed
South Cotabato Darters Association and Koronadal Dart Club (KODAC).
Sponsors of the tournament include Robson Sportscraft, Marbel Food
Harbor and SCOMBAC Sports Club with Radio Mindanao Network as the
media partner.
Competition starts on Friday with
the Classified Draw Doubles at 6:00 pm. Saturday events are the
Fixed Four-Person Team Championship at 10:00 am and the Classified
Draw Triples at 4:00 pm. The Youth Singles, for players 19 years
old and below, start the Sunday festivities at 10:00 am followed
by the Ladies’ Singles at 11:00 am and the Open Singles at
12:00 pm.
All events will follow the single
knockout format. The Open and Ladies’ Singles events are NDFP
ranking event where the top players will earn points based on their
performance.
