The P25,000 Bicol Dart Challenge, the 1st National Dart Foundation of the Philippines (NDFP) sanctioned tournament in the Bicol Region, is set for April 21, 2007 at the Market Market, Barriada Commercial Complex, Barriada, Legaspi City.

The tournament is organized by the Darterong Albayano and supported by the Bicol Dart Federation led by Darius Arana. Event sponsors are San Miguel Beer, Ginebra San Miguel and the Barriada Commercial Complex while the dartboards are provided by Robson Sportscraft.

The P10,000 NDFP ranking Open Singles begins at 1:00 PM and followed by the P15,000 Classified Draw Doubles.

The Bicol Darts Federation (BDF) is one of the newly formed regional dart federations coordinating with the NDFP. The Bicol Darts Federation was organized last May 2006 by different dart clubs in the Bicol region, namely: Darterong Albayano, Legazpi City (48 registered members), Daraga Darters Club (15), Cherookee Darts Club (15), Legazpi Darters Club (12), Pio-Duran Darters Club (10) and the Camarines Sur dart organizations, namely: Pili Darters Club (20), Palestina Darts Club (12), Pili Modern Village Dart Club (12), Naga Darts Club (20). Daet Darters Club have yet to submit their affiliation with the BDF, but they have agreed to join the Federation. Their Constitution and By-Laws was adopted from the NDFP.

The P25,000 Bicol Dart Challenge is the springboard of the BDF to the mainstream national network of the NDFP and the start of more ranking tournaments.
